Associate Creative Director

You’ll lead our Creative team and our clients through the creative process.

Job summary

Collaborating closely with the head of studio and the rest of our talented Creative team, you’ll actively participate in the creative process of generating, developing and communicating new ideas.

You’ll meet the account team and clients to discuss objectives and requirements. You’ll communicate concepts and ideas both verbally and visually. You’ll provide hands-on support to the head of studio, and motivate and mentor the more junior members of the Creative team. You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with your team members, the account team and Volume Innovate’s clients. Your commercial acumen will give you the strategies to balance the best creative outcomes with commercial realities.

Skills

  • Core Adobe Creative Suite programs: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • After Effects or Premiere Pro*
  • XD or Sketch*
  • Cinema 4D or Blender*
  • Experience of AR and VR*

  • An excellent understanding of marcom strategies and tactics (including technologies)
  • An evident talent for high-calibre creative concepts and writing
  • The ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly communicate creative direction to others
  • Sound commercial awareness
  • A broad and innate knowledge of and enthusiasm for design, culture, the arts and entertainment, social media, live events and experiences, trends and innovations, and the ability to bring this to the work you do at Volume Innovate
  • Knowledge of best practices in customer experience and design
